Freshers Day04 September 2025

The Indus Valley College, KR Puram, Bengaluru in association with IQAC hosted the Freshers Day celebration. It was systematically planned with a sequence of cultural and formal events. The Program for the academic year 2025-26 was organized on 4th September 2025 in the College Auditorium of Indus Valley College. The program began at around 10:00 AM, marking a successful welcome for the newly admitted students and concluded by 2:00 PM.

The program started with inauguration, lamp lighting, and invocation performances by students, followed by formal addresses such as the welcome speech, Director's speech, and Principal's speech.

The cultural segment included a variety of performances such as ramp walks, group dances, duo dances, skits, dumb charades, and talent rounds performed by both seniors and freshers. Performances were given by different groups ensuring active participation from students.

The event also featured talent rounds for freshers, giving them a platform to showcase their abilities. Towards the end, gifts were distributed to freshers, showing appreciation and encouragement for their participation.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by a senior student, marking the formal closure of the celebration.

The Freshers Day event is a balanced mix of formal speeches, cultural and entertainment activities by students, ensuring inclusivity and entertainment for everyone.
